World Wide Data Vault Consortium delivering SqlDBM Hands-on-Lab
At this years World Wide Data Vault Consortium (WWDVC) I will deliver the following:
Hands-On Lab: Cloud based Data Modeling with SqlDBM
In this technical session we will demonstrate the cloud-based data modeling capabilities of SqlDBM. We will begin with a walkthrough of the Dan Galavan Data Model Delivery Framework. This will be followed by data modeling in the context of Data Vault delivery, from the perspective of data model design, team collaboration, and data literacy. Included will be DevOps, how we can automatically check our data model for errors, how we can navigate larger data models, forward and reverse engineering, and how we can identify schema drift. The target environment will be the Snowflake Data Cloud.
